Hydra-Matic 4T80-E The The Northstar Engine


Seville STS’s Northstar engine is mated to the 4T80-E Four-Speed Electronically Controlled Automatic Transmission. The 4T80-E was specifically designed to handle the Northstar V8’s dynamic torque output for the smoothest shifting under varying driving conditions. It also has Performance Algroithm Shifting(PAS) that allows your engine to rev High for manual gearbox performance before shifting to the next gear. Or can shift quickly at low revs for smooth acceleration, It will change to accomadate your driving style.
